Ways to use green moss as a chic decor accent

Green moss is a great and inexpensive item to use for decor accents throughout your home. It also adds some greenery which always gives any space a nice upgrade. Whether its live moss or faux moss spheres – you can achieve a nice sophisticated look for a little money.

Here are a few ways I have used moss as an accent around our home.

In our upstairs hallway and in my husband’s office we have faux moss spheres in decorative brass bowls. But, on our dining table we actually use live moss in a planter bowl and it makes for a great simple centerpiece. The nice thing about live moss is its very easy upkeep, just sprinkle water once a week. To give you an idea, we have had the same moss for over a year and a half! So it really lasts a long time and you can buy it any local plant center, like Pike nursery.
